What the Heck is WRONG?

Someone forwarded me this...makes you think, doesn't it???

Remember, not only did you contribute to Social Security but your employer did too. It totaled 15% of your income before taxes. If you averaged only 30K over your working life, that’s close to $220,500. If you calculate the future value of $4,500 per year (yours & your employer’s contribution) at a simple 5% (less than what the govt. pays on the money that it borrows), after 49 years of working (me) you’d have $892,919.98. If you took out only 3% per year, you receive $26,787.60 per year and it would last better than 30 years, and that’s with no interest paid on that final amount on deposit! If you bought an annuity and it paid 4% per year, you’d have a lifetime income of $2,976.40 per month. The folks in Washington have pulled off a bigger Ponzi scheme than Bernie Madhoff ever had.

I didn't try to clean up the language in this message. It makes a better impact as it is.

Entitlement my ass, I paid cash for my social security insurance!!!!
Just because they borrowed the money, doesn't make my benefits some kind of charity or handout !! Congressional benefits, aka. free healthcare, outrageous retirement packages, 67 paid holidays, three weeks paid vacation, unlimited paid sick days, now that's welfare, and they have the nerve to call my retirement entitlements !!!!!!.....scroll down..............

What the HELL's wrong??? WAKE UP AMERICA !!!!

Daily Bulletin paper, (july 26th, 2011)  ran two articles on the front page side by side:

1- California's 20 Billion Dollar Budget Deficit

2- The California Supreme Court ruling that ILLEGALS can attend college and get benefits.

Why don't they just deport them when they arrive to register?

3- Last year they ran an article on the yearly costs to California Taxpayers from Illegals using Hospital Emergency Rooms for their general health care -

At just one hospital the cost to tax payers totaled over 25 million a year.

Someone please tell me what the HELL's wrong with all the people that run this country!!!!!!

We're "broke" & can't help our own Seniors, Veterans, Orphans, Homeless etc.,???????????

In the last months we have provided aid to Haiti, Chile, and Turkey. And now Pakistan ......home of bin Laden. Literally, BILLIONS of DOLLARS!!!

Our retired seniors living on a 'fixed income' receive no aid nor do they get any breaks while our government and religious organizations pour Hundreds of Billions of $$$$$$ 's and Tons of Food to Foreign Countries!

They call Social Security and Medicare an entitlement even though most of us have been paying for it all our working lives and now when its time for us to collect, the government is running out of money. Why did the government borrow from it in the first place?
We have hundreds of adoptable children who are shoved aside to make room for the adoption of foreign orphans.

AMERICA: a country where we have homeless without shelter, children going to
bed hungry, elderly going without 'needed' meds, and mentally ill without treatment –etc. etc.

YET.....................
They have a 'Benefit' for the people of Haiti on 12 TV stations, ships and planes lining up with food, water, tents clothes, bedding, doctors and medical supplies.

Imagine if the *GOVERNMENT* gave 'US' the same support they give to other countries.

Sad isn't it?

  1. I have felt the exact same way for several years now. I don't know how to fix it, I just know that it's broken. I'm hoping that 2012 brings a huge change for the better. Somehow we need to say NO to these people. The sad part is, they are eroding our rights to do it. In fact they are eroding all of our rights. The old rhyme "Sticks and stones can break my bones, but words will never hurt me" is replaced with "You call me a bad name and I will have you arrested for hate speech"!

I don't know where it will all end, but I pray it is not with civil unrest like the rest of the world.

  2. It is sad but what are we going to do about it, Nothing. If we don't pay then we go to jail. You did not mention the double pay for SS. It was already taken from us and now it is going to take our other tax dollars to help it out and make the payments that should have been made anyway. That's double paying where I come from. Then again, what are we going to do about it, nothing. Even if we all voted right, the next one will be just as in bed with the Federal reserve and the Zionists as the one we have now. Were done for.
They might as well quit masking it and just come right out and say they are screwing us like it or not.

  3. I am feeling the same way. If I stand up and say "Enough!" I'm going to end up in jail and then where would my family be? It would take a huge number of folks saying "Enough!" to buffer the backlash from D.C., and frankly, I don't know enough people who have the balls to do it. I get yelled at all the time because I'm a firm believer that welfare shouldn't be a way of life, which it is for most people. It should be an 18-month program and then you can't reapply for at least 5 years. And you know what? If these folks have a yard, they can GROW some of their own food for their kids. Hand them a box of seeds and a hand trowel!

About politicians... we keep getting the same morons in office because you have to be RICH to run for president. And if your filthy rich, guess what, most of your friends are too, and you gotta look out for your friends right?? You have to take money from special interest groups. It's a terrible circle.

I'm disgusted with America. And by that, I mean the people who govern America. Those of us out here breakin our backs to just barely keep ends meeting and feed and clothe our kids deserve far better than this shit. Excuse my french. It just gripes my tail that I have to scrape to pay bills and then we go to the grocery and have to be behind people buying things I can't afford because I am responsible and live within my means and work my ass off and they got that god-forsaken food stamp card and they are carrying a $1000 purse.

I know the job market sucks. 100 years ago this recession wouldn't have had people starving, because people could grow their own food. Now we have people piled on top of one another and no jobs, and mounting debt. Even if you wanted to go off-grid, that takes a big amount of capital. I don't think there is a solution. I think the problem is so big and we are not in control enough to fix it. It scares me. Scares me for our kids, scares me for whats coming.

And one more thing...Obama's health plan? Bah! Might as well start putting us in the gas chamber in groups of 50.
